Our Story
KSB Consulting has been an industry-leader since 1986.
Our founder and CEO Simon Chan was inspired to start this company upon meeting a meat wholesale company owner in college, who had asked him to write an accounting program for his business. At this time, the market was severely lacking in specialized software. Simon took the opportunity and took charge as one of the first software innovators in this space.
About the same time, Gordon Wong, another member of the team, was developing several systems for the healthcare industry.
Soon, KSB expanded its services to different industries and has implemented many successful systems for organizations of all sizes and business natures. Through the years, KSB continues to thrive and becomes a trusted partner of our clients.
Senior Management
Simon Chan – Simon is a graduate of Cal Poly Pomona’s Computer Science program. He founded KSB shortly after graduation and has been its leader for over 30 years.
Gordon Wong – Gordon is a man with many hats. He has a PhD in Information Systems (UCLA). He is also a physician (MD St Louis University) and an attorney (JD Purdue University Global). He now serves as Principal Consultant and Corporate Counsel for KSB, with special focus on healthcare related projects; security and privacy issues; and all legally related matters.
Andy Choi – Andy is also a graduate of Cal Poly Pomona. He is the lead technical expert overseeing all systems development projects.
